Essential Rules for Vendors on Zobicart.Pk

Success as a vendor on any online marketplace hinges on building trust with customers and adhering to the platform's established guidelines. To thrive in the competitive e-commerce landscape, sellers must prioritize professionalism, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Here are some fundamental rules every vendor should follow:

1. Identification Requirement for Vendors:

  • CNIC / D.L/ P.P: To verify your identity it is must you provide the required document and send it to id@zobicart.pk for verification process.

2. Zobicart.Pk Commission, Withdrawal Fees & Tax (VAT):

  • Zobicart.Pk Commission: In online mostly platforms are charging commission 13% - 21%, but zobicart.pk offer 2 months till 31-07-2025 free no charges. But after that period it will become 8%.
  • Bank and Payment Method Fee: It is cleared no any other fee is charged by Zobicart, and Payment Methods fees are applicable from their own side.
  • Tax (VAT): E-Com business according to PRA (Punjab Revenue Authority) paying 3% to 16%. It can be varying time to time. If vendor products are under this category, then they are bound to pay tax.

3. Product Accuracy and Honesty:

  • Truthful Listings: All product descriptions, specifications, images, and prices must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. Avoid exaggeration or making unsubstantiated claims.
  • High-Quality Images: Use clear, well-lit photographs or videos that accurately represent the product. Showcase various angles and important details.
  • Authenticity: Only list genuine products and must be approved from any regulated authority if it is required by Government Laws. The sale of counterfeit, fake, or replica items is strictly prohibited.
  • Condition Disclosure: Clearly state the condition of the product (new, used, refurbished) and accurately describe any flaws, defects, or missing parts for used or refurbished items.

4. Inventory and Pricing Management:

  • Accurate Stock Levels: Maintain real-time accuracy of your inventory to prevent overselling and order cancellations.
  • Transparent Pricing: Clearly display the full price of the product, including any applicable taxes. Avoid hidden fees.
  • Competitive and Fair Pricing: While pricing strategy is up to the vendor, ensure it is fair and complies with any platform-specific pricing policies.

5. Order Fulfillment and Shipping:

  • Prompt Processing: Process orders within the timeframe specified in your listings and by the platform.
  • Reliable Shipping: Use reputable shipping carriers and provide accurate shipping information, including estimated delivery times and tracking numbers.
  • Secure Packaging: Ensure products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Adherence to Shipping Policies: Comply with the marketplace's shipping policies, including any restrictions on certain items or destinations.

6. Customer Service and Communication:

  • Responsive Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, messages, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Clear Return and Refund Policies: Clearly outline your return, exchange, and refund policies, and ensure they comply with the platform's minimum standards.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a respectful and courteous tone in all communications with customers.
  • Dispute Resolution: Cooperate with the marketplace's dispute resolution process to address any customer complaints or issues fairly and efficiently.

7. Adherence to Platform Policies and Legal Requirements:

  • Know the Rules: Thoroughly read and understand the marketplace's terms of service, selling policies, and any specific category guidelines.
  • Prohibited Items: Do not list or attempt to sell items that are prohibited by the platform or by law.
  • Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights. Do not list items that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or patents.
  • Data Privacy: Handle customer data responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the platform's data protection policies.
